Cookie Policy

Contrics stores a small number of strictly necessary items so you can sign in and stay signed in. No analytics script and no advertising pixel is currently loaded on this site. Nothing in the optional categories runs unless you switch it on — and the advertising integration described in section 6 is built but not yet switched on at all.

Most of what Contrics stores is not technically a cookie: it is browser local storage, which is not sent to our servers with every request. The same consent rules apply either way, so we treat both the same.

These are strictly necessary to deliver the service you asked for, so they are exempt from the consent requirement and cannot be turned off.

• Sign-in session — local storage, set by our authentication provider (Supabase) once you sign in. Keeps you signed in between visits.
• Your cookie choice — local storage, so we do not ask again on every page. Contains the categories you accepted, a version number and the time you decided.
• Referral code — only if you arrived through a referral link, so the referral can be credited.

Interface settings you choose yourself inside the signed-in app, such as your theme and whether the sidebar is collapsed, are saved in your browser when you change them, so the app keeps the setting you asked for. They are not used for anything else and are never sent to a third party.

These settings are written when you change them, without waiting for the Preferences switch, because each one is a setting you asked for rather than something we collect about you. The keys are cos.theme, cos.sidebar.collapsed, cos.welcomeSeen, content-vault:open-sections and cr:saved-swipes. Turning the Preferences switch off does not erase settings already stored in your browser; clearing your browser storage does.

Would let us see which pages help people and where the product confuses them. Contrics loads no analytics script at present, so accepting this category currently enables nothing. If we add one, it will only load for visitors who have accepted this category, and this page will be updated with the specific provider and cookies before it goes live.

Lets us measure whether our advertising works and show relevant ads on other sites. Contrics has built its advertising integration around two providers:

• Google Ads — measuring which ads lead to sign-ups and checkouts. When active it loads a Google tag and Google may set cookies such as _gcl_au in your browser. Google documents these in its advertising cookie notice; the storage duration is set by Google, not by us.
• Meta Pixel — the equivalent for ads on Instagram and Facebook. When active it loads Meta's pixel script and Meta may set cookies such as _fbp. Meta documents these in its cookie policy.

Neither is switched on at the moment: no advertising account is configured, so no advertising script loads and no advertising cookie is set, even if you accept this category. We are describing them here in advance so that the moment they are enabled, this page already tells you the truth.

When they are enabled, nothing in this category loads or sends anything before you accept it, and withdrawing your consent stops further advertising events. Server-side conversion measurement is treated exactly like a browser pixel — it needs your consent too, and moving a measurement to our servers does not change that.

We do not send your email address, name or any other identifying detail to Google or Meta. Advanced Matching — the feature that would upload hashed customer details — is deliberately not implemented.

The website's typefaces are served from our own servers, so viewing a page sends no request to Google Fonts. Inside the app, if you choose a Google font for your brand kit, a preview of that typeface is loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address and browser details when it is fetched.

When you connect a social account, or when you pay, your browser communicates directly with that provider (Meta, Google or Stripe). Those interactions are covered in our Privacy Policy.

You can change your mind at any time, and withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it. There is a Cookie preferences link in the footer of every page, or use the button below.

Clearing your browser's site data also erases your choice, and you will be asked again on your next visit.
