Data Deletion

Last updated: September 15, 2026

You can delete your Contrics data at any time. This page explains how to request deletion of your account and workspace data, and how data from connected platforms (Instagram, Threads, YouTube) is removed.

How to request deletion

You can request deletion in either of these ways:

  • Disconnect a platform: open Settings → Connections and disconnect Instagram, Threads, or YouTube. This immediately revokes and removes the access token we store for that platform.
  • Delete your account and all data: email support@contrics.com from the address associated with your account with the subject “Delete my account”. We verify the request and process it within 30 days.

How connected platform data is removed

When you disconnect a platform or delete your account, we:

  • Revoke and delete the stored access/refresh token for that platform.
  • Delete the connected account record (username, profile, identifiers).
  • Delete the analytics snapshots synced from that platform for your workspace.

You may also revoke Contrics's access directly from the platform: in Instagram or Threads via your account's apps and websites settings, and for YouTube via your Google account's third-party access settings. Revoking there stops further data access; emailing us ensures any already-stored data is removed.

What gets deleted with your account

  • Account and profile data.
  • Connected platform tokens, account records, and analytics snapshots.
  • Knowledge uploads and generated content stored in your workspace.

We may retain limited records where required for legal, tax, or security purposes, as described in our Privacy Policy.
